
Summer Choice Fair
Families are invited to the Summer Choice Fair, your one-stop-shop to learn about exciting summer programs offered by organizations all across Saint Paul. With representatives from various programs all at one place, families can explore their options, choose programs they are interested in, and sign-up right on site, with many of the confirmed vendors offering free programs or scholarships.
In addition to providing information about summer activities, the Summer Choice Fair will also feature fun activities for children and families. This event is free to attend, and attendees can stop by Oxford Community Center anytime between 12 – 3 p.m. All are welcome.
Spanish and Karen translators will be on-site.

Child and Teen Checkups | Child and Teen Checkups assist families with children under the age of 20 on medical assistance find dental and medical care through their health insurance plans. We also educate the community on health related topics, remind families about upcoming appointments, and assist with finding community or county resources. |
CollegeBound Saint Paul (City of Saint Paul) | CollegeBound Saint Paul gives all children in Saint Paul born on or after January 1, 2020 a free College Savings Account! Accounts are seeded with $50 and families have opportunities to earn bonuses every year for their child's future. |
ComMUSICation | Love to sing? Gospel music is a powerful artform that connects and inspires. In this camp, you will meet Gospel musicians, learn Gospel harmonies, and explore the past, present, and impact of Gospel music! You'll meet new friends and sing at summer festivals during this fun and engaging camp. |
Dream In Color Healing | Dream in Color Healing presents Sunshine & Self-Expression: Youth Yoga in the Park, an 8-week summer program blending yoga, mindfulness, and fun. Designed for ages 7-12, sessions focus on confidence, creativity, and fun yoga games! Kids will stretch, breathe, and express themselves through dynamic yoga flows, all in a vibrant outdoor setting. Join us Tuesdays or Thursdays, June 17 - August 4, 5-6:30 PM, Let's move, create, and grow together! |
East Side Arts Council | We will be offering free art classes at community centers and recreation sites across the East Side of St. Paul, in collaboration with local artists! Our traveling Artmobile will provide drop in programming at a variety of sites. |
Eastside Learning Center | Eastside Learning Center provides Literacy Programs throughout the school year. Our summer literacy program is held at Liberty Plaza Housing Complex. We are looking for volunteers to join our summer program to tutor youth in reading. |
Free Book Buggie | The Free Book Buggie offers children a fun-filled experience to choose from a wide variety of books and reading levels. Friendly volunteers are excited to help children choose the best books for them. Come check out the Book Buggie at the Event! |
Girl Scouts River Valleys | We have a Kinder Readiness event series, direct ship activity books for rising K and 1st graders, and a variety of summer camp offerings. |
Girls on the Run Minnesota | Camp GOTR by Girls on the Run provides an intensive, one-of-a-kind opportunity for girls entering or exiting 3rd – 6th grades to develop self-confidence, learn life skills, and have fun. Girls will enjoy building friendships in a fun and inclusive setting that includes interactive games, being physically active, and expressing creativity through arts and crafts and storytelling. This year we have 2 sites in St. Paul (Holy Spirit and Keystone West 7th Community Center) and we are so happy to offer pay-what-you-can for all of our programming. |

Lake Phalen Rowing | Lake Phalen Rowing camps are a fun introduction for youth (entering 7-12 grade) who would like to learn a new sport and meet other youth on the calm waters of Lake Phalen. Camp attendees will receive a coveted Lake Phalen Rowing shirt. Must be able to swim and lift 30 lbs overhead. Life jackets provided. Camp size is limited so register early. Lake Phalen Rowing is a National Championship winning team that is NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED. |
Metro Transit | Metro Transit is a leading transportation resource for the Twin Cities, offering an integrated network of buses, light rail and commuter trains, microtransit, as well as resources for those who carpool, vanpool, walk or bike. In 2023, we provided nearly 45 million rides across the Twin Cities region. |
Minnesota Boat Club | Youth Rowing Team - Learn to row "the ultimate team sport" Minnesota Boat Club located on Raspberry Island in downtown St. Paul and hosts team practices with the option to race at local and regional regattas. |
Rawdatul Muhibbeen | RM is a non profit organization for Muslim girls. We offer programming in the areas of social and emotional development, leadership skills, life skills, and self identification. |
Restoration for All Inc. | Our organization offers culturally responsive mental health and wellness programs for African immigrant and refugee youth and families. Activities include mindfulness workshops, youth leadership development, STEM exposure, and community events focused on resilience, healing, and connection. |
Saint Paul Park and Recreation Preschool Programs | Edgcumbe and Linwood Recreation Centers offer Summer Preschool programs for ages 3-5. Ratios kept 10:1. Focused on learning through play. Daily activities include: Circle time, snack, outside/gym, and playtime. |
Saint Paul Parks and Recreation | St. Paul Parks and Recreation offers a wide range of summer programming for youth of all age level. Options range from our staple Out-of-School Time program, Summer Rec Check, to more skill-specific art classes, cooking classes, nature-based opportunities, and more. |
Saint Paul Public Library | Learn about Summer Spark at SPPL! Make the library your summerspot with Summer Spark, the Library's summer learning and reading program encourages kids and teens to discover the joy of reading for fun all summer long! |
Saint Paul Public Schools - Summer Learning Programs | SPPS has a variety of summer learning options for students in all grade levels. Students in grades K-8 will strengthen current academic skills and prepare for the upcoming school year through active, fun and hands-on activities. High school students in need of credit recovery can make progress towards graduation. Programs are free, include breakfast and lunch, and transportation is available. Most programs run June 24-July25. |

Theater Mu | Mu Explorations is a class for the young aspiring actor or new performer. Through physical games and exercises, students will learn a variety of performance strategies and essential stage skills, while exploring story and character - all through the lens of Asian America. We will focus on storytelling and physical/vocal expression while learning about theater arts foundations, Asian American identity and history, creation and performance. |
